Before completing the application for employment at New Brighton Care Center, review the following information that will be requested of you. To ensure the hiring process moves quickly, have all required documentation before submitting your application. The supervisor for the position you are applying will review your application. At that time the supervisor will decide if they want you to come in for an interview. Not all applicants are interviewed. if you are scheduled for an interview, the supervisor may extend a job offer to you during that meeting. Any positions requiring current licensing, Registered Nurse, Certificed Nursing Assistant, Social Services, etc. will need to be presented during your interview. If you accept the job offer, the following will occur.


  1. Federal law requires all employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States. This employer participates in E-Verify. You will be asked to read the E-Verify notification sheet and then complete a I-9 Form. To view a list of acceptable documents needed to complete the I-9 Form, [Click Here].

  2. Minnesota Department of Human Services requires New Brighton Care Center to conduct a criminal background study. You will be asked to read the background study privacy notice and then complete the background study form. For this form you will need a current Minnesota state drivers license or Minnesota state ID card. The yellow receipt for license renewal is not accepted.

  3. New Brighton Care Center requires your Social Security Card for payroll processing procedures. If you do not have Social Security Card, you will need to apply for one. [Click Here] for more information on how to apply for a new or replacement Social Security Card.

  4. All original documents and cards only. Copies will not be accepted. All required documents will be photo copied and returned to you.
